Luxury treat for a taste of home

I have to admit, back home in the States, Starbucks is not always my first choice coffee house, but I was so very excited when the first Starbucks stores opened in Stuttgart about two years ago. And now just in the past month, a store has opened only 10 minutes drive away at our local mall. It’s difficult to stop myself from buying a drink whenever I visit, which is thankfully not every day. It’s also hard to believe I’m spending 4 Euro on medium-sized mocha, but it’s really a bit of luxury for a taste of home. Anybody else out there allow themselves special indulgences from time to time for a taste of home, wherever you are?
