In the early days, I would ring my mother and have her go shopping with me for kid’s décor because I couldn’t keep my thoughts organized long enough to figure out what ‘look’ I was going for. I’m always so full of ideas I start to lose focus and end up with everything or nothing. I love vintage, but enjoy modern pieces. I like the look and feel of rustic, but with bold, sharp colors. I’m basically all over the place, but I always keep my eye on the Dutch Room Seven line. Their quilts (one of my first purchases) have a vintage feel, while the patchwork pillows carry a warm elegance. The attention to detail is evident throughout several of their lines, but due to their colorful look and soft femininity, I’ve definitely favored their bedding and accessories. Some may find their prices a bit steep, especially in this economic climate, but never forget the power of ‘learning by doing’ you can always join a quilt making circle and create an heirloom of your own.

Adorable! Thanks for connecting with Momtrends. We have friends in Stuttgart and I was there about five years ago!
