German Easter Egg Tree

We still have a few weeks, but you can start saving eggs and collecting ideas for Easter decorations. I love the tradition here in Germany… First, gather or buy some tree branches with buds on them and place them in a sturdy vase filled with water. Next, blow out some eggs, rinse and let dry. Decorate to your own desires and ideas and glue on a string or ribbon. Then hang the eggs from the branches as if it were a Christmas tree. The added benefit is that the buds on the tree branch will bloom, really bringing the springtime inside your home!
