Holz + Wolle

Last week I visited the Mack-Fellbach store that Kim recommended. It’s not rock-bottom prices like IKEA, but really a lovely garden oasis and similar to a Pottery Barn feel inside. I do miss my Williams-Sonomas and Pottery Barns, and there are some beautiful décor inspirations even if you don’t buy anything. They did have a large selection of the irresistible Room Seven pillowcases, also available in the US, see our previous post here. I also found some very unique toys and kids decoration items from Holz + Wolle (wood and wool). The two mothers who founded the company work with pine, merino wool felt, and old barn door planks for the clothes hooks. These ladies call themselves a “two-woman factory” and are actually located just around the corner from us in Esslingen, however their products are available online at ichbinklein.de
