Unlike other things in my life, how I found out about the Mini-Micro (germany) was pretty simple. I was in a bike shop with my kids last year when we moved to Zurich. My daughter E saw it, she loved it, she ENJOYED riding on it (at that time she was still apprehensive about riding bikes and scooters), so we bought it. That simple.
The Swiss designed product is simple, basic and at the same time brilliant. With three wheels (two wheels up front and one in the back) and a T-bar steering column, the Mini-Micro (U.S.) is very easy to control. In fact, over the winter when my then 17 month old son started riding on E's kickboard we decided that E needed a larger kickboard or new scooter. When we began to look around, I had no idea Micro was located across the lake in Zurich. After writing the company concerning their products and where I could test some of their Micros, they immediately responded with the names of stores that carried their products and welcomed us to come into their offices (across the lake) to try them out. So we went by, E tried them out, chose a new purple Maxi-Micro with a 'joystick' handle rather than a T-bar and she LOVES it!! Even her now 2 year old brother is trying to use it but, as typical with all of us ladies, E's a little possessive and will not let him.
