Did you all have a nice weekend? We had a fantastic time, great weather and the fireworks display at the Ludwigsburg Palace on the 4th was wonderful. We sat on the grass, played and chatted with with the other families and guests around us, and just had to cover big brother's ears (it was very loud but he still loved it) for the goregeous music-coordinated fireworks show. It was almost like being at home in the States on Indpendence Day!
On to today's music post. During my childhood, driving around with my parents in our green Volvo and listening to John Denver on the 8-track tape deck, I became a huge fan of his music, at least his greatest hits.... I love this version of Country Roads that he wrote and made famous, sung by Hermes House Band, a party band from The Netherlands. Hope this helps jump-start your monday morning!
