Modern nativity scene

We are slowly collecting a nativity scene. I do stress slowly because the pieces we have chosen are hand crafted beauties and while not inexpensive, they are worth every penny!

Our setting is from the woodworking master Björn Köhler in the German Erzgebirge region. This is a mountainous region on the border between Germany and the Czech Republic; if you happen to be in Dresden you will see many Christmas stores carrying his work.
I love the simplicity, earth toned colors, and modern lines of his figures for the nativity scene. We've put a new piece on our Christmas wish list, so we'll see if Saint Nikolas comes through this year!

Online shopping is available at Auerbacher Erzgebirge Haus for European customers and in the US at GDH-Imports
