I never would have imagined in my life that I would own a bicycle & take care of it almost like I would a car. Since I've lived in the Netherlands, this has become a fact & I don't own a car anymore. Not now. If I ever have children, this invention might just be my thing! Also, have you ever seen a 'bakfiets?'

hehe. great post! I was really hoping to pull my bike out this week in Berlin. But it's snowing again. Drats. So I'll stick to going places by foot with you. Thanks for the lighter side of not biking!

I love how much biking there is in The Netherlands. We lived near Aachen and about 20 minutes from The Netherlands so we go there quite often (for the English movie theaters).

I'm hoping to figure out how to get some biking in during this summer with baby.
